I hired Ksenya (Rays of Space Oy) to my Futurice team to drive the build of an analytics capability from ground up. It was a tough assignment, everything had to start from zero. We worked together for just under 2 years, during which time she was able to deliver substantial value to the business, I was particularly impressed with her ability to navigate both the technical and the business sides of the job. I am so pleased we got her to drive the work, and am very pleased with her relentless drive to get stuff done!
At ESA we are working with Rays of Space to develop the Virtual Space Weather Modelling Centre; an Sun-to Earth system of models for predicting space weather. We are making great progress and are very happy with the scientific and software expertise of the company, the thought that goes into the development, and the results that this combination yields.
We at the University of Helsinki (UH) space physics team collaborated with Rays of Space on the UH's Interplanetary Shock Database project. The database is designed to provide the scientific community with straightforward access to observations of numerous shocks detected by various spacecraft in the heliosphere. The project was executed with professionalism and punctuality. It also involved developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based shock detection system. We were highly satisfied with this collaboration.
